Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief

Our Pizza to the Rescue Truck traveled to the Southeastern Kentucky area where devastating flooding affected our very own Whitesburg KY district. This district was where our founder, Jim Hunt first began growing Pizza Wholesale of Lexington’s customers in 1976. Perry, Knott and Letcher counties were hardest hit, and our team was blessed to be able to immediately jump right in to feed displaced residents and volunteers. Our District manager of Whitesburg, Tim Fields, and his family helped coordinate our efforts and be a local resource to make the greatest impact on the community with over 990 pizzas baked over the course of three days.

Our Paris warehouse and support team members also worked with the City of Paris local firefighters, city workers, police and community volunteers to pack boxes, load up pallets and shrink-wrap donated urgent supplies in our warehouse to be hauled to the designated FEMA site.
